SA Branch: Evening Lecture – Paper Trails to Lost Plantings

Join us to hear, seed hunter, Daniel Duval tell us about the fascinating work he and his team are doing to find surviving examples of endangered plants through the diaries and notebooks of our botanical pioneers.

Daniel will explain the ‘whys and hows’ of the Seed Bank’s mission to collect and conserve SA’s threatened flora. He will share details of the Australian Seedbank partnership and the South Australian Seed Conservation Centre’s work to restore native plant communities.

The evening will conclude with a tour of the Seed Bank labs and storage facilities tucked away in the upper floors of the historic Goodman building.

Venue: Lecture Room, Goodman building Hackney Road, Adelaide

Cost: $10.00. Admission includes a glass of wine and supper.
