Webinar: French gardens

21 October 2020 @ 7:00 pm AEDT

This Webinar via Zoom will be presented by Angela Low.

AGHS Sydney Branch invites you to a talk on gardens of France.

Angela Low will take us on a tour of some of her favourites, including the grand, formal gardens of Versailles as well as some smaller gardens with a more relaxed, informal quality. The presentation will explore a variety of garden types and designs while highlighting the characteristics that create a distinct Gallic style. Angela is a fluent French speaker which has given her greater access to people and places in France.

Angela has a background in Science and has enjoyed a varied career working as a biochemist in the Chidren’s Hospital at Camperdown; and for 2o years as a curator in The Haswell Museum of Zoology in The School of Biological Sciences at Sydney University. Since retirement, she volunteers in
the marine invertebrates section of the Australian Museum, where her accumulated knowledge and attention to detail is invaluable.
Angela has been a member of AGHS Sydney Branch executive committee for 10 years; gardening has been a lifelong passion.

Cost: $10 members; $15 non-members; students $5.

Book at Trybooking.

Sign on: commences from 6:30 pm and the presentation begins at 7:00 pm.
